If you’ve been to IHOP lately, take a closer look at your receipt. It might include an invite to take their guest feedback survey at TalkToIHOP.com—and if it does, you’re in for a tasty reward.
I took the survey myself, and in just a few minutes, I scored a free stack of buttermilk pancakes for my next visit. Here’s how you can do the same.

What’s the Reward?
Once you finish the survey, you’ll receive a validation code that you can write on your original receipt. Bring it with you next time and redeem it for a free short stack of pancakes.
Some locations may offer a different reward, but the pancakes are the most common.
How to Take the IHOP Survey at TalkToIHOP.com
Step 1: Check your receipt
Make sure it includes a survey invitation code, as well as the server ID and visit time/date.
Step 2: Visit TalkToIHOP.com
Choose your preferred language and enter your receipt info to begin.

Step 3: Complete the survey
You’ll answer a few quick questions about:
- Food quality and temperature
- Friendliness of your server
- Cleanliness of the restaurant
- Overall experience
The whole thing takes about 3–4 minutes.

Step 4: Write down your reward code
When the survey is done, you’ll be emailed a coupon code. Bring it back to into IHOP OR use it online to get your reward.

are you going by Eastern standard time? … you rejected my code Because it was just before midnight, PST? Because. it was a valid code. Please tell us that you need to have it done before midnight Eastern standard time. If this is the case, a simple notification would be welcome. Took survey and entered all my info. Did not receive code for free short stack. I was within the 3 day time period and I gave good scores to each question. I was very disappointed at the results.

My server was great. She was very attentive to our needs. She made my Birthday a very happy one.
Ihop beaufort SC is trash and they don’t care what is serve to you. When you order off the menu they do not fix like it os shown but put what they want on your plate. Manager act like she don’t care at all. They just need to close and put something else in that spot. Food is always nasty and service suck. Drinks are flat and food is nasty as hell. I’m done. Go at your own risk don’t say I didn’t warn you.

I filled in the survey and was emailed a 9-character coupon code for a free shortstack of 3 pancakes. The email said it could be redeemed in-person or online within 30 days.
Tried redeeming it in an online order, but the website says it’s not a valid coupon code.
I tried calling my local IHOP, and the person on the phone sounded surprised that the coupon code was 9 characters, as if that was not valid. She said I might have to just order in person rather than online and hope the computer at the restaurant accepted it. I am not filled with confidence about that.
Something’s not right. I feel lied to.

Today is Veteran’s Day and this is the worst veterans day experience. I went to store # 2006 and wanted to substitute the funfetti pancakes for the regular pancakes. I was under the impression that I could just pay the difference. When I went to checkout, I was charged full price for the funfetti pancakes. I was not aware that I would be paying full price for them and did not want two order of pancakes. Also, my guest and I ordered drinks. We did not get the drinks while we were at the restaurant. Upon checking out, the GM, Shanique Clark, was called to fix the ticket to remove the drinks because the waitress said that if we did not want the drinks then, she would have to pay for it. I did not like that policy mainly because we did not get any drinks and that was not fair. The GM took the drinks off of the ticket, but did not even try to fix the issue with me paying full price for the funfetti pancakes since I was not aware that I would have been paying full price instead of the difference of the regular pancakes. She even admitted that the waitress should have made me aware of it. Right there, I should have been accommodated since it was not told to me. When I said that I would go to corporate, that’s when she wanted to try to fix the issue. I should not have had to even mention going to corporate before she choose to make it right. Some of these managers need more training on how to deal with customer complaints on prices when they are not made aware of what they are paying for.
I’m a veteran and I visited IHOP with my niece and her kids. My treat. The service was terrible in that the server spilled a glass of water on the table wetting my nephew, didn’t notice my hash browns weren’t on my two egg quick breakfast and only discounted.60 cents for my meal as a vet. I paid the entire check and fully expected 10% off the entire check,not just my shorted meal! I will not be returning to IHOP again!
This is for store #36-168 on West Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida. I never waste my time with satisfaction surveys, & wanting to comment now, am frustrated by this web site which keeps telling me my “entry code” is “invalid”. But I persevere through this because I want to praise my server, Christine. She has been my server the last several times I’ve come to this outlet, and she has been fantastic each & every time. She remembers me and my usual order, is friendly and personable, provides excellent service, and is just all-around excellent. You should highly value such fine employees like her. Others have suggested the serving staff they appreciated should be given raises. I would go further & say you should groom her for promotion to a management position & otherwise do whatever it takes to retain her as an employee.
This is for store 3695 Elkhart In. I’ve had bad experiences with I hop in the past and was reluctant to come back, however I’m super glad I did. My server Joni Slater was amazing. She had a calmness about her and made us feel very comfortable. She was pleasant and answered all our questions our food was hot and perfect. I would give this girl a raise. We will be back !
Really small pancakes
Another cold plate – not worth going – Twice this weekend to reduce my number of PanCoins – however tonights dinner was cold – could not get a hold of the waitress – there was only one other person in there…. so it is not that she was busy. It was 4:15PM – everything was cold – and we waited for 20 minutes to get fed – had we sent it back we would have been skeletons dying at the table of starvation. Really a pitiful situation.
Everything was great at the restaurant and the server was amazing.
I had an excellent experience, this morning/afternoon in regards to my late breakfast. The food was good, the restaurant was clean, the ambience was amicable, climate perfect. The staff was cordial, and professional if you will. Especially my server Jessenia, she was friendly, well versed, and attentive, not only with me, but also with the other customers. As an educator, Jessenia definitely earned an A+ grade.

The staff is unprofessional. They put each down in front of customers. The order was wrong. I don’t know why every time we order a HAMburger we get cheeseburger. We come here often. It’s only gotten worse over the years instead of better.
$7 Hamburger coupon could not be honored because my companion ordered off 55 plus menu. I was told this was a discounted meal. i was not charged the $8 ihoppyhour price even though it was during that time frame. Mailed coupons appear to be a bait and switch. Store 3731
This is for store 1491 me and my family have been eating at IHOP for a long time now in Jonesboro Arkansas. Over the pass few months we have watched the store change and grow. The store is now very clean and the staff is amazing. However there is one that really stood out the most. He came outside to greet us and held the door open for my family. My grandmother and my aunt both walk slower than most and use a cane. This gentleman walked with both my grandmother and aunt to our table and allowed them to use his arm for support. After we were seated he got us our drinks because our server was busy. He showed us true compassion and empathy. If only more people were like him in the world. His name is Jerry I’m not sure if he was the host or a server but IHOP did good hiring him. We will continue to dine at IHOP in Jonesboro Arkansas.
I normally dont ever leave a comment on customer service & Im taking great pleasure in doing this one as Im still sitting in our booth as I type this! Our server Christie was phenomenal! Unusually busy Sunday morning & she worked under pressure with ease. She talked to her customers & remembered everyone’s order. I couldnt tell if she was stressing at all. She later told me her morning didnt start off great. I told her I commend her for being such a wonderful server!! Give this gal a raise!!!!!

My family was there, Sunday, Dec 18th. Toni was the host and we could not get better service from her. The busses were great, cleaning tables in a timely manner. Our waiter was horrible. The gentleman that was seating people did not know what he was doing My husband had a hair on his plate which we were comped for. 5 tables were served before us. If it wasn’t for Toni stepping in and helping out, we would have left. This was in Schertz, texas
Emily m. Was our server and she was amazing. My family of 8 came in and she was very patient with us. She helped up with the menu and we loved it. She gave us refills when needed. This business was missing Emily to prosper.
